The ESGE 33rd Annual Congress 2024 is approaching and we are very excited to welcome you to Marseille!
In order to make your stay as comfortable as possible, we would like to share with you some useful information.

Please note that due to test runs for the new metro system, the M1 and M2 metro lines will stop their service at 21:30 h from Monday to Thursday. Further information can be found here.
Please note that it will be quite busy in the city of Marseille on Sunday morning, 27th October due to the 45th edition of the famous 20km race “Marseille – Cassis”. The runners will start near the congress venue at 09:00. So please expect there to be a lot going on around the congress venue.
BADGE PICK UP
Participants
Please bring your barcode letter with you – either printed or on your mobile device – to print your badge at one of the BADGE PRINT DELEGATES stations. Of course, you can also come to the BADGE PRINT SERVICE counter at the MAIN REGISTRATION and we will print the badge for you.
Faculty
Please bring your QR Code letter with you – either printed or on your mobile device – to print your badge at the BADGE PRINT FACULTY station. Of course, you can also come to the FACULTY counter at the MAIN REGISTRATION and we will print the badge for you.
Stand Staff
Please pick up your badge at the INDUSTRY counter at the MAIN REGISTRATION. For the access to the Welcome Reception on Sunday, 1st October at 17:30 your badge is obligatory. Please remember to pick it up well in advance.

WELCOME RECEPTION
The Welcome Reception is the official opening of the industry exhibition on Sunday at 17:30 - 18:30.
Join us for some drinks in the exhibition area!
Your badge is your entrance ticket, so please make sure to pick it up well in advance.

The congress app “ESGE Congress 2024” is available for download in the app store.
Water Bottles
ESGE focusses on sustainability. Grab your complimentary water bottle at the cloakroom (Garden Level) in exchange for your voucher and look out for the various water stations (e.g. all restrooms on Garden Level and 1st Floor) throughout the venue to refill your bottle on the go!
CME-CPD CREDITS
The congress was granted 23,0 European CME Credits (ECMEC) by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME). Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that they actually spent in the scientific sessions.
The EACCME awards ECMECs on the basis of 0,5 ECMEC for 30 minutes of CME with a maximum of 8 ECMECs per day:
27th October 2024: maximum 6,0 credits
28th October 2024: maximum 7,5 credits
29th October 2024: maximum 6,5 credits
30th October 2024: maximum 3,0 credits
In accordance with the EACCME rules & regulations, the following procedure is obligatory to obtain your CME-CPD Credits:
1. Pick up your name badge
2. Scan your badge at the CME-CPD Credits counter on the Garden Level twice a day.
3. Complete the EACCME evaluation afterwards (deadline: 18th November 2024).
Your certificate will be automatically generated and emailed to you once you have completed the feedback form. CME-CPD Credits can only be granted if onsite attendance is confirmed and the online evaluation form is completed after the congress. Please refer to the CME-CPD Credits Counter onsite to scan your attendance. It is the responsibility of the participants to ensure their attendance is scanned on all conference days to obtain the maximum possible credits.
Evaluation Deadline: Monday, 18th November 2024
In accordance with the guidelines of the EACCME, we will not be able to enable evaluation or issue new certificates after this date
