CME-CPD Credits (EACCME)
The congress was granted 25 European CME Credits (ECMEC) by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME).
The ‘ESGE – European Society of Gynaecological Endoscopy’ (or) ‘ESGE 32nd Annual Congress’ has been accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME) to provide the following CME activity for medical specialists. The EACCME is an institution of the European Union Medical Specialists (UEMS), www.uems.eu .
The ESGE 32nd Annual Congress is designated for a maximum of (or ‘for up to’) 25 hours of European external CME credits. Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that they actually spent in the scientific sessions.
The EACCME awards ECMECs on the basis of 1 ECMEC for one hour of CME with a maximum of 8 ECMECs per day:
In accordance with EACCME rules & regulations, CME-CPD credits may only be granted once your attendance onsite has been confirmed and you have completed the online evaluation after the congress. Staff will be on site to scan the code on your name badge to prove your attendance.
It is your responsibility to confirm your attendance each day by scanning your name badge to get as many credits as possible.
In accordance with the EACCME rules & regulations, the following procedure is obligatory to obtain your CME-CPD Credits:
- Pick up your name badge
- Scan your attendance at the ‘CME-CPD Credits’ Counter minimum twice a day, in front of Auditorium 2000 on all congress days (starting from the first coffee break of each day).
- Complete the EACCME evaluation afterwards
Please note that the scanning and the evaluation is obligatory to obtain your CME-CPD credits.
Your certificate will be automatically generated and emailed to you once you have completed the feedback form.
CME-CPD Credits can only be granted if onsite attendance is confirmed and the online evaluation form is completed after the congress. Please refer to the CMECPD Credits Counter onsite to scan your attendance. It is the responsibility of the participants to ensure their attendance is scanned on all conference days to obtain the maximum possible credits.
Evaluation Deadline: Monday, 23rd October 2023
In accordance with the guidelines of the EACCME, we will not be able to enable evaluation or issue new certificates after this date.
Through an agreement between the Union Européenne des Médecins Spécialistes (UEMS) and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert EACCME credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Information on the process to convert EACCME® credits to AMA credits can be found at www.ama-assn.org. Live educational activities, occurring outside of Canada, recognised by the UEMS-EACCME for ECMEC credits are deemed to be Accredited Group Learning Activities (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
